Online Psychiatric Evaluation for Teens and Adults in Connecticut

Your first session is all about you. Jessica takes time to learn your history, current concerns, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals, then builds a plan that fits you.

What your evaluation is

This is your first session with us, and it's all about you. We take time to learn about your history, current concerns, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. This comprehensive assessment helps us clearly understand what you're experiencing and create a personalized treatment plan that truly fits your needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Your evaluation is with Jessica Logel, MSN, PMHNP-BC, FNP, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. It happens by secure video, so you can join from the comfort and privacy of your home.

In Jessica's words: "I know starting therapy or psychiatric care can feel intimidating, so I approach each session with compassion, curiosity, and openness."

Need help right now?

JRose Wellness is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

How to prepare

  • A private, quiet space where you can talk openly
  • A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, and a steady internet connection
  • A list of your current and past medications, and how they worked for you
  • Your insurance information, if you are booking through Alma or Headway
  • A few notes on what you most want help with

What happens during your evaluation

A welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free first visit.

Getting to know you

Jessica wants to understand you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. You can talk openly about what feels stuck or overwhelming.

Talking through options

If medication could help, you discuss options thoughtfully, including benefits, risks, and your comfort level. You stay informed and involved in every decision, and medication is optional.

Building your plan

Together you set initial treatment goals and agree on next steps, which may include medication, supportive therapy, practical strategies, or a mix.
